We are excited to share that we now have an official nonprofit as of December 2022, called Nature and Community (the two pillars that led me to create Human Nature Hunting). This has been in the works since 2020! Please keep us in mind for your year-end donations.
Donations go directly to building our program and our scholarship fund for helping folks attend our hunting, shellfishing, and foraging courses who face current or have faced historic barriers to entry.
Strengthening the human-nature connection is the driving force behind our efforts. And for those of you who have had the opportunity to do some hunting or foraging on your own I hope you are experiencing a galvanization of that connection to the land. A feeling that we are of the land and that engaging in our ecosystem as full participants opens another dimension to what it means to be human and conscious stewards of our home.
Donations are tax-deductible. And we are enrolled in Benevity's workplace giving program, which leverages your donation if you work at places like Apple, Google, and Microsoft.
